Now Hiring: Arts Development Director/OWBO Director
ABOUT US:
Founded in 1999, the Wyoming Women’s Business Center (WWBC) is a 501c3 private non-profit organization headquartered in Laramie, WY. Our mission is to empower Wyoming entrepreneurs, especially women, through our counseling, training, and microfinance programs to start, expand, and sustain small businesses in the state of Wyoming. We strive to advance self-sufficiency and equality. We do that through 3 distinct programs: (1) Business Counseling and Training, (2) Microloans, and (3) The Artist Development Center.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK FOR THE WWBC:
WWBC works hard to serve our clients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance and positive team-oriented atmosphere. Our strategic framework revolves around building trusted relationships, providing equal opportunity, valuing contributions, community impact, and financial stability. Our small, high-functioning team consists of 10 employees plus a corps of independent contractors and an engaged Board of Directors.

The Artist Development Director oversees the Works of Wyoming (WoW) store. The WoW retail space is an important tool in providing a comprehensive Professional Artist Development Program targeting artists in business. Additionally, the WoW format provides professional business development for artists. Our core is to develop businesses - not every entrepreneur is an artist, but every artist is an entrepreneur.

The Artist Development Director works directly with the Executive Director and other WWBC Directors in fulfilling key strategic initiatives in accordance with grant deliverables and is an integral part of the WWBC team. They also have a deep interest in working to support artists that are culturally and economically diverse.
