About the Wyoming Women’s Business Center (WWBC)


Founded in 1999, the Wyoming Women’s Business Center (WWBC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Laramie, WY. Our mission is to empower Wyoming entrepreneurs, especially women, through counseling, training, and microfinance programs that help them start, expand, and sustain small businesses.

Position Summary


The Office & Administrative Coordinator supports the daily operations of WWBC by managing office tasks, assisting the lending team, coordinating communications, and providing general support to the Executive Director. This role helps keep the organization running smoothly and ensures clients, partners, and community members receive timely, friendly assistance.

 

Hourly Rate: $18-$21 per hour, depending on experience

Position Type: Hourly Part-Time, up to 15 hours/week
Location: Laramie, Wyoming

Key Responsibilities

​

Administrative & Office Operations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for general calls, emails, mail, and office inquiries.

  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail, deposits, and routine administrative tasks.

  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems, office supplies, and operational processes.


Lending Department Support

  • Assist with loan processing tasks such as filing promissory notes, title work, verifications, and other required documentation.

  • Maintain and update applicant files, track document inflows and outflows, and assist with light data entry in support of the lending program.


Communications & Community Management

  • Help manage online communities by posting updates, responding to routine questions, and maintaining resource libraries.

  • Support basic content drafting, newsletters, website updates, and social media as needed.
     

Partner & Community Relations

  • Coordinate partner outreach, follow-ups, thank-yous, and relationship tracking.

  • Maintain up-to-date contact lists, CRM entries, and communication records.


Meetings & Events Support

  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and organize materials for internal and external meetings.

  • Support logistics for events, workshops, and trainings, including registration, reminders, and onsite/virtual assistance.


Executive Support

  • Assist the Executive Director with scheduling, task follow-up, document preparation, and special projects.

  • Conduct research, create draft communications, and support organization-wide initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Must live in Laramie, WY and be able to work in the office regularly.

  • 1–2+ years of administrative, office, or customer service experience.

  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.

  • Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently in a small team setting.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in a nonprofit, small business, financial, or community-focused setting.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, data entry, or loan/support processes.

  • Experience helping manage online communities or social media.

  • Event support experience (virtual or in-person).

  • Light communications or design skills (e.g., Canva, newsletters).
