ARTIST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

The Wyoming Women's Business Center's Artist Development Program strives to increase the business knowledge and enhance the visibility of Wyoming's artists through access to free business education and counseling, as well as the Works of Wyoming (WoW) retail store.

Works of Wyoming

Works of Wyoming hosts 60+ artists from throughout the state in the Downtown Laramie and online store, which ships WoW artists' Wyoming-made works nationwide. WoW was created to encourage Wyoming artists with networking, training and workshops, and art community building.

Business Support for Artists

All Wyoming artists are eligible for Wyoming Women's Business Center's services, including:

  • Business Education Webinars

  • DreamBuilder Business Planning

  • One-on-One Business Counseling 

  • Microloans

Apply to Sell Your Work at WoW

New Artist applications and members are accepted in March and September.  Once accepted, a yearly fee is paid to maintain membership. 

  • A 30% commission is put toward operations. 

  • The artist receives 70% of their retail price and is paid monthly, in the month following sales. 

  • Artists are expected to maintain inventory levels as sales are made.

  • Feedback is provided from customer comments, sales, and consumer observations.
